Description
Waiting Ballerina Statue inspired by the work of artist Edgar Degas (1834-1917). Degas is interested in ballet early, and in 1872 he makes his first studies of ballet dancers. He thereby avoids the real drama, the performance itself. This distant approach seems to reflect Degas' life. When a small dancer, a favorite model, left for New York, the seemingly indifferent bachelor traveled her on the next boat, returning to France without leaving. This statue is made from Polystone, and in perfect new/mint condition, including original storage box and certificate. Packaged carefully and sent by registered transport.
