Handel boudoir lamp has reverse painted shade of a Venetian harbor scene of boats at full sail with Venice in the background. The night time scene also shows a full moon shining down on the harbor. Shade is signed on the inside rim "Handel". The shade rests on an original Handel boudoir base with open work floral design encircling the foot and platform. A ribbed stem supports the single socket and harp. All with remnants of a copper finish. Base is signed on the underside, in raised block letters "Handel". Shade is 6-1/2" in diameter, base is 14" tall. Shade is very good to excellent. Base shows considerable wear to the copper finish. Rewired with contemporary plastic cord. Condition: Dimensions:13 -1/2" x 6 -1/2".
