Description
Duffner & Kimberly table lamp has leaded glass shade with a stylized flower descending from the aperture against a cream, green and yellow slag glass background. The narrow skirt with an irregular border is made up of green slag with an amber and red slag stylized leaf panels. A similar example of this shade can be found in the book "Mosaic Shade Vol II" by Paul Crist, on page 222, center left. The shade rests on a cast bronze Duffner & Kimberly base with decorated foot, ribbed stem, along with a three socket cluster. The base is complete with original Duffner & Kimberly cap with heart cutouts. An example of this base can be found in the same book and page as mentioned for the shade, top left photo. Shade is 20" in diameter, base is 22" tall. Shade is very good to excellent with one J-shaped tight hairline to a background panel. The base is very good with some minor wear and discoloration to the patina. Condition: (Very Good - Excellent). Dimensions:20"x 22".
