(Czech 1877-1942), Old Houses, Amsterdam, (Novak #117 ; Baker #46) 1909, etching on cream wove paper with extensive tone, pencil signed and artist's red chop, lower left, pencil numbered 84 from an edition of 150, measuring 10 7/16 x 6 9/16" inches platemark, This etching provides a glimpse of the facades of old, unidentified residences in Amsterdam, with the dark water of a canal roughly reflecting the buildings in the foreground.
