This charming little Sculpture depicts a woman who has just finished getting water from a water well pump. She has a bucketful of water and as she tUrned to walk away, her skirt got caught on the pump from the well, lifting it up and revealing her lack of undergarments. She tUrns her head in surprise and her reaction is captured marvelously here. The water has fallen out of the bucket and to make the situation even more entertaining, her bosom has also fallen out of her dress. The detail on this piece is exquisite, down to the details of the girl's heels and knee high stockings and to the fine texture of the wood grain on the well and the wooden planks she is standing on.
