Description
This is an attractive large map of New York City's fire departments in Manhattan. There were 9 Fire Battalions with brigades under them. The sectors are color coded and the locations of Fire Departments, Engine Houses, Hook & Ladder Houses, Repair Shops, Hospitals, Bell Towers and like are all noted with all streets being labeled. Also shown are the proposed landfills along the Manhattan shorelines, which were later created where FDR Drive and many other developments are. Published by John Hardy.
