A LOUIS XV STYLE GILTWOOD POLYCHROME BOMBÉ GLAZED MUSIC CABINET VITRINE, EARLY 20TH CENTURY, the glazed shaped top surrounded by carved leaf and cabochon and molded edges, opening to a pink velvet lined interior with matching silk rope trim, backed by a mirror panel, within two serpentine glazed sides, fronted by a bombé glazed panel, above a single, bombé cupboard door, painted with a scene of two lady musicians in a garden, opening to an interior fitted for music storage, flanked by beribboned musical instrument painted serpentine sides with applied relief rocaille flourishes, all within a stiles ending in acanthus leaf, bellflower, and rocaille flourish encrusted cabriole legs, terminating in ormolu mounted feet, joined by an arched rocaille flourish skirt. Some surface wear including gilt rubbing and mild abrasive losses of gilt, some loss of the carving, mild upholstery where, one front window now cracked at center, and craquelure throughout, but overall in very good condition, wear commensurate with age and use.
