DESCRIPTION: A pair of antique Chinese enameled rose medallion vases. Composed of traditional moonflask forms, with flattened, round bodies, adorned with salamander motif handles flanking the neck. The body is garnished with enameled scenes of regal figures in courtyards being catered to by servants. The scenes are encompassed by gilded and enameled lotus floral motifs and traditional Chinese objects such as censers and vases. Finished with gilding throughout and marked along the underside with a foru character, squared, Chinese seal. Includes custom wooden bases.
