East Asia, China, late Qing Dynasty to early Republic period, ca. late 19th to early 20th century CE. A lovely ensemble of six glazed porcelain blue ware items, including a small vase and five bowls of varying sizes. A pair of small bowls have ringed bases, thin rims, and similar depictions of two buildings and a boat along a gently-flowing river. Another bowl has a footed base and a saucer-shaped body, with floral and berry motifs around the interior rim. A fourth bowl has a slightly flared rim with cross-hatch designs and large flowers and vines on the interior. The largest bowl has a wide footed base, cloud-shaped designs on the exterior, and a cloud-like deity on the interior. Finally, a small vase with a small rim and low-relief flowers and painted branch and leaf designs. A lovely set! Size of largest: 7.75" Diameter (19.7 cm).
