14th-17th century AD. A mixed group comprising: a silver expanding-arm cross pendant with later applied loop, low-relief standing robed and nimbate figure with arms in the orans posture, legend above; silver reliquary cross with Corpus Christi to one face, Mary Theotokos and infant Jesus to the reverse; silver bifacial pendant with scenes from the life of Jesus. 33 grams total, 39-58mm (1 1/2 - 2 1/4"). Property of a British gentleman; formerly in the private collection of Russian businessman Yuri Golubev (1942-2007), some of his collection was published in his book 'Symbols and Images'; acquired on the London art market 1990s-2007.
