Description
Chanuka menorah for a synagogue, shaped like a star of David. India, start of the 20th century.
The back of the menorah is made of wood which bears a brass plate that is attached with screws - a star of David from which extends a half-circle that holds eight holders in long, styled arms, designed for glass cups. The star of David is engraved with the Hebrew word "Zion" and a tall shamash hangs in the center. Hanging string on the back.
