This 19th-volume features the Panchatantra, a collection of important ancient Indian fables depicting animals in verse and prose. This work, sometimes known as ‘The Fables of Bidpai,’ is often considered the most frequently translated literary product of India and are some of the most widely known Indian works. This volume also includes the fairy tales of Fénelon.
