Description
Antique Chinese late 19th century hand painted Famille Rose enameled porcelain cache pot "koi fish" planter. Exterior depicting a parade caravan scene with royal child on Qilin beast with attendants surrounding himplaying instruments and waving flags to announce his arrival. Green bats can be seen flying amongst them. Bottom holds red six character zhuanshu Qianlong (1736 - 1795) reign mark but most probably circa Guangxu(1875 - 1908) period. Measures approx. 11 1/2" height x 14 7/8" diameter.
