Description
This is an extremely well preserved Native American headdress, also known as a war bonnet, traditionally worn by the male leaders of tribes and during battle or celebration. It retains many of its original magnificent qualities from its colorful beaded artwork, red draped fabric, decorative animal fur and turkey feathers. It is displayed in an electrical oak cabinet, manufactured by Howard Miller. One key is included. Age unknown. From the Ray Bentley Collection. Condition: (Excellent). Dimensions: 78"T x 25"W x 16"D.
