This rare barber shop shaving mug cabinet purportedly came out of a barber shop in a hotel in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This large cabinet is constructed of dark stained walnut wood and features a cabinet with glass front doors. On either side of the central cabinet are 24 locking pigeon holes, each with round beveled glass mirrors, made for holding shaving mugs. Beneath each of the mirrors can be seen faint traces of where numerals used to reside. The upper cabinet rests atop a slab of rose colored marble, which displays some wear and is in three separate pieces. The lower unit features four cabinet doors, each with an interior shelf. The outer two cabinet doors retain their locks while the middle doors appear to be missing their lock. The center cabinet doors also display a discoloration of where an emblem or perhaps mirrors were once mounted. The finish shows wear throughout. Condition: (Good - Very Good).
