This small two-door cabinet is raised on tall bracket feet and is fitted with a number of small drawers in the form of a miniature stationery cabinet. It would make a lovely jewelry box. Pachinger was a scientist and collector. He started his career as an antique dealer and was a sworn court expert on antiques and ancient artifacts. After his death, his collections were divided between the Kunsthistorisches Museum (Vienna), the Germanic National Museum (Nuremberg) and the Upper Austrian Museum (Linz).
