Description

GIRARD-PERREGAUX - a gentleman's Ferrari chronograph wrist watch. Stainless steel case. Reference 8020, serial 877. Signed automatic calibre 2280-631 with quick date set. Yellow dial with baton hour markers, subsidiary recorder dials to three, six and nine, date aperture between four and five. Fitted to a signed bi-material strap with stainless steel pin buckle. 37mm. Box and papers.

Condition

Movement is currently functioning. The chronograph counts one minute, but the hour counter has not been tested due to time constraints.

Movement appears to be in a generally good condition with little sign of previous intervention when viewed under a 4x loupe.

Dial appears to be in a generally good condition with no marks visible when viewed under a 4x loupe.

Hands appear to be in a generally good condition.

Glass appears free of significant scratches or marks when viewed under a 4x loupe.

Case shows scratches, marks and dints.

Crown has light scratches when viewed under a 4x loupe.

Strap shows marks and creasing.

Buckle appears to be in good condition with minor marks and scratches when viewed under a 4x loupe.

This lot comes with a box with heavy wear and marks and papers dated 5-12-96.
