MAKER After Sir Thomas Lawrence (English, 1769-1830) | Engraver: Frederick Christian Lewis (English, 1779-1856) DATE c. 1837 DIMENSIONS Width 10.75 Height 12.75 in. (2) British School Stipple Engraving, Portrait of Lady Emma Hamilton. Medium: stipple and soft ground etching with hand coloring. The portrait is of Lady Emma Hart Hamilton (1765-1815), who was the mistress of Horatio Nelson. The artist is unknown but Hamilton modeled for many artists including George Romney and Sir Thomas Lawrence. DATE 18th century DIMENSIONS Width 11.5 Height 15 in.
