Bob Hope (1903-2003) Comedian, actor. Hope had a career that spanned nearly 80 years, He appeared in more than 70 short and feature films, including a series of "Road" movies. In addition to hosting the Academy Awards show nineteen times, he appeared in many stage productions and television roles, and was the author of 14 books. His book, Confessions of a Hooker My Lifelong Love Affair with Golf, Doubleday, 1985, first edition, signed on the first blank page, “To Shirley I miss you – Bob Hope”. The book has also been signed by eleven participants in the “Frank Sinatra Celebrity Invitational” golf tournament, February 20, 2016, Palm Springs, California.
