Black velvet with a large-scale gold and silver pattern of stylized fruit and flowers, velvet stand collar supporting eight velvet petals with wide chiffon ruffles folded over and affixed to the collar with metal snaps, collar closes with three toggles, each with a pair of polychrome beads above a silk cord tie with beaded ends, lined in black chiffon over gold satin, chiffon is stamped at the front with two large floral devices. Purchased from Marion Boughner in 1978. L-48. (Two minor surface stains-one hidden by collar, minor hole in velvet, scattered holes to chiffon, some seam separation along collar) excellent.
