Black satin straight flats with polychrome satin-stitch floral, kid lining, glazed linen insole, long silk ties, label "St. Arbery's Warehouse...Margate", L-8 1/2, tag indicates purchased by Doris Langley Moore. Worn by Miss Ann Johnston-Noad and illustrated in "Woman in Fashion" plate XI, page 51. (significant splits to silk). Cream satin flats with polychrome needlepoint floral having silk ribbon ties, quilted lining, L-9 3/4, (soles replaced, felt insoles likely added, silk mended around soles, side seam separation). Fair.
