The jade cabochon cocktail ring has a fancy 10k gold filled mount with a split shank that frames and accentuates the very pretty medium green jade stone. The 10 mm tall oval cabochon has considerable depth and transparency. Through a loupe you can see the fibrous crystal structure typical of nephrite jade.
The inside of the ring is marked as 10 G.F., along with a hallmark I can’t identify (see photo)
MEASUREMENTS Size 6. The cabochon measures 10 mm x 8 mm. Weight .1 oz (3 g)
CONDITION Good vintage condition. Some gold is warn from the edges of the ring, especially along the shank. I don’t see any chips or scratches on the stone, and it is highly polished
