A William IV/Victorian Silver Six-Piece Tea and Coffee Service
John Wilmin Figg, London, 1837, Walter & John Barnard, London, 1888 and Robert Garrard II, London, 1867
comprising a water kettle-on-stand marked for Barnard, the teapot, coffee pot, creamer and sugar marked for Figg, each of baluster form, the lids with pheasant finials above the lobed bodies worked to show repousse rose, thistle and bird motifs, raised on similarly decorated quatrefoil feet, together with an associated silver tray marked for Garrard II.

Height of water kettle-on-stand 16 1/2 inches.
Estimate $ 8,000-12,000
Service in overall good, stable, usable condition.
Light to moderate surface scratching throughout consistent with polishing and use. Tarnish and polish remnants to recesses. Coffee pot lid bent slightly out of round, closes but does not sit flush to body, Pin on handle dislodged, handle with pushed in area at top consistent with handling. Teapot missing on pin on handle. Creamer with body pushed slightly into foot. Tray with heavier surface scratching from use. Additional images available upon request.
