Description
This Grateful Dead handbill was designed by Stanley Mouse and Alton Kelley for a Family Dog show at the Avalon. Thankfully, this did not become the “trademark” of the Dead. The FD-26, which was created less than a month later, is undoubtedly the most famous poster from the Family Dog series, as well as the most recognized image ever used by the Grateful Dead.
