Original Boar War and Ww1 tin tobacco or chocolate box.
Queen Victoria 1900 & Princess Mary 1914 .

Original Queen Victoria's Boar War "Christmas" chocolate or tobacco tin, 1900.
These tins boxes were sent out to all British soldiers serving in South Africa by Queen Victoria.
The tin was inscribed in her handwrtting "I wish you a happy New Year, Victoria Reg.
Dimension: 6 2/8".
Good original estate condition, age appropriate.

Original Princess Mary Christmas gift box, 1914.
These brass tin boxes were distributed to all members of the armed forces of the British Empire on Christmas day 1914.
Each tin decorated with an image of Princess Mary, Christmas card, and photograph of Princess Mary.
Cartouches surrounding mage of princess Mary represents Britain's allies during the war.
These boxes were sold to raise money for the "Sailors & Soldiers" Christmas fund
