ENGLISH STERLING SILVER CASE KEY-WIND POCKET WATCHES, LOT OF TWO, comprising an example in open-face case with Birmingham hallmarks, maker's mark "JA", and enamel dial marked "J. ALLOTT / IMPROV'D LEVER", with gilt hands, and an example in open-face case with London hallmarks, maker's mark "W.C.", most likely for William Comyns, and 1867 date mark, with enamel dial; each with fusee movement. 19th century. Approximately size 21 and size 12, respectively.
Excellent condition overall, expected wear and some minor dents to cases, crystals replaced, the second example with crystal detached but present. The second example currently in working condition, the first not currently running (see Catalogue Guarantee).
