Designer 5.00ct Fire Opal, 0.85ctw SI1-SI2/G-H Diamond & Solid 18K Yellow Gold Ring W/Hallmarks - This beautiful ring is made of solid 18k yellow gold, and boasts a beautiful, 5.00ct oval-cut fire opal. The opal has a stunning fiery vibrant orange color with a unique glowing quality, and you would almost think that it would glow in the dark. This rare gemstone is created in ancient volcanoes, when water seeps into the flowing lava, and is becoming increasingly harder to come by. The opal is bezel set, and surrounded by approx. 0.85ctw genuine SI1-SI2/G-H brilliant round-cut fiery white diamonds, which create a perimeter around the opal. The ring has ornate shoulders with a fleur-de-lis motif, showing wonderful attention to detail. The table of the ring measures approx. 20mm x 17mm, and the band measures approx. 2.5mm wide. The inside of the band is fully hallmarked, with an "E.J. & Co." sponsor mark, crown gold standard mark, gold purity "750", Birmingham assay mark and "u" date letter.
