A wonderful reproduction of an American cast iron mechanical toy coin bank that showcases the skill ingenuity, craftsmanship of the late 1800s early 1900s.
This well made functioning mechanical bank works by pushing down on the lever on his shoulder. When the lever is pushed the arm lifts back depositing the coin in the mouth, at the same time his eyes roll back into his head.
As you can see in the pictures in is all heavy cast iron. On the bottom it says "Firemans Fund Cairns 1937"
