A pale carved celadon jade scholar’s rock with mountain scenery. One side depicts a mountainside pavilion with a descending bridge with deer, pine trees and water flowing under the bridge and over rocks. A house on stilts is in the foreground on one side and on the other is another house on the ground. The reverse features mountains and a house at a lower level with a pine tree in the center. There is a sage and attendant crossing a stone bridge on the left and a boat traveling across water on the lower right. Calligraphy is visible over the boat. A custom fitted rosewood platform-shaped stand is included.
