A matching pair of fancily carved hardwood candle stands with basket-shaped candle holders. The rim band is of ruyi with a barred cage to hold a candle. The upper section is decorated with stylized lotus and vine and the lower rim matches the upper rim band. The cages are sitting above gilded mountains with rocks below. The bases are galleries with brass posts and meander and lotus designs. Various auspicious symbol bands stand atop the eight ruyi-shaped feet.
