DESCRIPTION: An antique English porcelain set. Previous owner had this set listed as Coalport from 1860, although no marks have been found other than a pattern reference of:"1578". Each is embellished with bucolic landscape scenes enveloped by raised, and gilded, scrolled rococo floral motifs. The set is composed of a compote, 14 salad plates, two medium serving trays with open work handles, and two larger serving trays with open works handles. Finished with gilded floral motifs throughout.
