Description
A lovely Sasanian carnelian intaglio set into a silver ring, c. 1st - 3rd Century AD, with the image of a stylized lion attacking a bull. The intaglio measures 16 mm in length and the ring is a size 8-1/4 and made of silver with turquoise inlays and shows extended wear. Ex Florida private collection.
