French Cast Iron and Oak Book Press, 19th c., the iron press mounted on a table with square block legs joined by an H-form stretcher, H.- 39 in., W.- 19 1/2 in., D.- 16 in.

Condition

Dimensions of working area – wood surface 19 ¼ x 16 inches, steel press 13 x 14 ½ inches. Surface with separation crack 4 ¼ inches at back left, 1 ¾ inch crack at center right back, 2 ¼ inch crack at back right. Right front leg with one 15 inch separation crack and another 5 inch crack. Left front leg with 7 and 8 ½ inch separation cracks. Pinhead holes at front center edge.
