Presentation copy, with inscription on front flyleaf to Arthur Inghram Boreman, an American lawyer and politician who helped found the U.S. state of West Virginia, and who served as its first Governor, a United States Senator and a circuit judge: " [?] A.I. Boreman, compliments of the author." Beneath are Boreman's initials, dated August 16th, 1887. "Being a Narrative of the Military Movements in the Mountains of Virginia, in the Shenadoah Valley and East of the Blue Ridge during the War of the Rebellion, of the First Regiment Virginia Infantry Volunteers--Three Months' and Three Years' Service."
Condition
Light wear to cloth with light rubbing to extremities, some bubbling to cloth of rear board; a solid copy; very good.
