Goebel Master Sculptor, Gerhard Skrobek (Polish, 1922-2007) captures the covenant between the Indian and white man with his sculpture in a Limited Edition Goebel Porcelain Statue of “Passing The Peace Pipe”, #144/400 with brass Goebel plaque on front of mahogany base, copyright 1974. Incised mark signature of sculptor on base. The brass plaque on the front of the base reads: “Passing The Peace Pipe” Celebrating the covenant between the Indian and white man sculptured by Gerhard Skrobek for W. Goebel No. 144 in Limited Edition of 400. (Estimate current value from $900.00 - $1500.00). When it was first released in 1974, it is being sold between $1,500.00 - $2,500.00. Size: Overall with base 17” tall x 16 ½” wide x 14” deep
