Description
Large Cased Set of Tiffany & Co. "San Lorenzo" Sterling Silver Flatware

the pattern designed in 1916 by Arthur LeRoy Barney (1884-1955), New York, New York, including a dozen fifteen-piece place settings, with an additional dozen teaspoons and fourteen serving pieces, most monogrammed "ECC", presented in a fitted, Pacific cloth-lined wooden case with lift-top and single drawer, 8" x 16-1/2" x 14-1/4".
206 pieces
246.07 total t. oz. (weighable silver)

Notes: Detailed list of pieces available on request.
Condition
A nice set in used condition. The bowls/tines of the salad forks, ice cream forks and ice creams spoons are gilded, much of which is worn or lost from use. Two teaspoons and one dessert spoon have minor bumps on the tips of the bowl; another dessert spoon has two short (1/4") vertical dents/scratches at the bowl tip, presumably dishwasher damage. Otherwise no issues noted beyond the expected scuffs and scrapes commensurate with age. Knives clean and tight. Solid pieces marked (on the underside) "Tiffany & Co. Sterling Pat. 1916 M". Case (not original) is moderately scratched and scuffed on the exterior, but is sound and functional; interior good.
