A 2nd civil rank golden pheasant ranking badge dating from the 18th-19th century. It depicts the bird flying against a cloudy sky with ruyi motifs and a Shou medallion and character border. The embroidery is on a dark blue ground and there is a golden sun hanging in the sky above.

Dimensions are: 12 1/2 inches tall X 13 1/2 inches wide. All measurements are approximate.

Condition: Minor fraying to the edges, but overall good condition.
