Pair of white ground Imperial plates with 6-character Guangxu marks and being of the period. The plates are painted in copper red with bats on both the face and underside of the rim. Double blue underglaze lines line the rims of the plate and the foot has a Greek key border in blue underglaze. Dimensions for each plate are 1 1/4 inches tall X 6 inches wide. All measurements are approximate

Condition: There are some miniscule rim chips and one of the bat plates has hairline cracks in the rim.
