122. RARE SERIES A BEBE BY STEINER. Marks: 5 (incised upper back left side of head). 26". Bisques socket head with rounded face, blue paperweight eyes, painted lashes, rose-blushed eyelids, feathered and brushstroked brows, pierced ears, closed mouth with outline lips, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French composition ball-jointed body with straight wrists, contemporary blue silk dress, antique blue fur-trimmed cape, antique white leather shoes. Commentary: Gorgeous, early Series A bebe, marked only with the number 5, choice bisque and delicate facial decoration, excellent body with original finish; body not marked.
