TITLE/CONTENT OF MAP: '[Plan de Tripoli in Barbarie] [Tripoli, Libya]'
DATE PRINTED: 1705
IMAGE SIZE: Approx 24.5 x 36.5cm, 9.75 x 14.25 inches (Large)
TYPE: Early 18th century copperplate map
CONDITION: Poor: There is some paper damage along the left hand edge of the map, which has been repaired verso. The map was printed over the top edge of the sheet and the title and top edge of the map are missing. The map has been cleaned, which has somewhat lightened the tone of the ink.
VERSO: There is nothing printed on the reverse side, which is plain

PROVENANCE: "A La Sphere Royale", Nicolas de Fer, Geographe de sa Majesté catholique et de Monseigneur le Dauphin. A Paris, dans l'isle du Palais sur le quai de l'Orloge a la sphere Royale 1705
