Included are Young: The Medici, in 2 volumes, Dutton, 3rd edition 1923, with illustrations; Tuker: Rome, Painted by Alberto Pisa, A&C Black, 1905; Pusey: The Confessions of Saint Augustine, Illustrated by Maxwell Armfield, Chatto & Windus, 1909; McSpadden: Opera Synopses, Crowell, Fifth Edition 1934; Goldsmith: The Traveller, Illustrated by Birket Foster, Bogue, c1928, with original decorated leather binding mounted and bound into the back of the volume.; Thackeray's Letters to an American Family, with illustrations by Thackeray, Century, 1904; The Poetical Works of Thomas Campbell, in two volumes, illustrated with 20 vignettes from designs by Turner, Moxon, 1851, binding by Sangorski & Sutcliffe; and Amiel's Journal, Macmillan, 1922.

Notes/Literature: Huguette Marcelle Clark (1906-2011) was an heiress and philanthropist, who became well known again late in life as a recluse, living in a hospital for more than 20 years while her mansions remained empty. She was an accomplished artist and musician, having studied under famous portrait painter Tadeusz Styka, and her paintings were exhibited at the Corcoran Gallery, Washington in 1925
