A glamorous vintage Lapis Lazuli tribal ring, in silver, Afghanistan, circa 1910's - 1960's. This incredible middle eastern piece has hand crafted out of coin silver with wonderful gilt workmanship, filigree and high relief decoration. It has been bezel set with a solitaire oval shaped deep blue lapis lazuli gem measuring, approximately, 6.24 carats. The ring is in very good condition showing a fair amount of expected wear. It has only been lightly cleaned to maintain its fine patina. It weighs approximately 27.99 grams and is U.K ring size P (U.S ring size 7 3/4). The face of the ring measures 0.67 inches (1.7 cm) wide by 0.59 inches (1.5 cm) deep by 0.83 inches (2.1 cm) tall (just the oval).
