**First Time At Auction**

East Asia, China, Late Qing Dynasty to early Republic period, ca. late 19th to early 20th century CE. A fabulous gathering of carved Chinese jade items. First is a small pair of near-translucent green hoops with smooth faces and a large central hole. Second is a petite rectangular carved jade box with a vertical band of Chinese characters colored in red on each side; the box has an oval-shaped interior cavity, and the top has twin drilled perforation holes. Last are three carved white jade beads, perforated for suspension, hanging from small wire threads with circular coral separation rings. The triangular metal pendant consists of two fish with an openwork design and a lengthy upper chain. A lovely set! Size of largest: 5" H (12.7 cm).
