This coin is one of only 6,000 ever minted, it is made from 83% Solid Silver and it was issued as legal tender to commemorate the Shooting Festival hed that year in the City of Zug, Switzerland. It has a face value of 5 Swiss Francs and it features two crossed flags with guns on the reverse and the letters: EIDGENÖSSISCHES SCHÜTZENFEST 1869 IN ZUG – 5 Fr. and a man holding a flag and an axe on the obverse with the letters: HANS LANDWING RETTET DAS PANNER BEI ARBEDO – 1422
