This figurine appears to be in mint condition without chips, cracks or crazing. This sculpture depicts a Sea Captain pondering the ocean as he smokes his pipe. He leans against a dock post with a coiled rope at his ankles. His matte finish is great for all the detail. He is wearing a jaunty Captain's hat, blue coat with a pale mauve and white strip turtle neck. His wide, white sailor's pants end at a pair of gray shoes. Figurine was designed by Salvador Furio and measures 14.5" x 4" x 3". It is clearly marked on the bottom with the traditional Lladro trademark. This magnificent piece was issued in 1970 and retired in 1994. No Lladro box, COA, or other paperwork is included with this figurine.
