Oil on canvas abstract expressionist painting. Signed and attr. Susan Wohl (Czech, 2012) on lower left corner and dated 1971. 8.5 x 7.5 in. (21.6 x 19.1 cm.); top left chip on the frame and bottom left, middle section. Susan Wohl was born in Czechoslovakia and worked in New York and Montreal, where she eventually settled. She was a survivor of the holocaust, which greatly influenced her work. She died in 2012. Her works have been in galleries including at Rafius Fane Gallery and are held various in private and public collections including the Russian Holocaust Centre.
