Description
Two-tone redware pottery seated hunchback dwarf, arms held away from his body, depicted with a large head with a flared spout. Nicely rendered facial features, hair painted black. Overall strong mineral deposits and root marks. Spout repaired with some restored edge chips and one minor chip. Head reattached with restoration over the breakline. Private Nevada collection, ex. Dr. David Harner collection, Arkansas, 1950s-1960s. Collection # BH.03.118. Exhibited at the Marjorie Barrick Museum, UNLV, 1990s. 11-34/" in height.
