Goli society ceremonial fly whisk handle
carved wood with encrusted red-brown patina in the form of a male head with finely carved hair wearing a Goli society mask with large sweeping horns, facial scarification, prominent ears and side appendages, eyes closed; neck continues smooth portion of handle; shaft is wrapped in indigenous blue and white cotton fabric and secured to handle by twisted rope covered with kaolin.
