Hand painted underglaze by Vernon Kilns.
*Salamina was Rockwell Kents mistress.
Dimension: 12.25" dia.
Condition: good original condition, no chips, cracks or repairs.
Provenance: private estate.
*Vernon Kilns in Vernon, California commissioned Rockwell Kent to design several patterns using images from two of his most popular books: Moby Dick by Herman Melville illustrated by Rockwell Kent (1930) and Salamina (1935) along with a patriotic set "Our America." Provenance: private estate
