Egypt, Late Period, ca. 700 to 330 BCE. Two beautiful necklaces comprised of hundreds of ancient turquoise blue faience mummy beads interspersed with larger, translucent natural amber beads. The larger strand possesses 50 rounded amber beads - some smooth and some faceted - set apart via multiple blue faience beads and white paste glass spacers. The smaller strand possesses three yellow amber beads interspersed in a triple strand of faience beads - including dozens of tubular shaped turquoise blue faience beads interspersed with petite disc-shaped blue and white faience spacer beads. Size: 42" L (106.7 cm); smaller triple strand measures 18" L (45.7 cm)
